Welcome
to Siloam Springs! Known
as a “small town” while at
the same time a “City of
Beauty and Progress,” this
city of more than 11,000 was
founded over 120 years ago
as a summer health resort.
Of the 65
downtown building, 43 are
contributing historic
buildings. Of those, seven
are listed in the National
Register of Historic Places.
The historic downtown
provides a variety of
shopping, business, and
eating. Brick sidewalks lead
to Twin Springs Park and the
Farmer’s Market, which
operates from spring through
fall. Lunch near the town
fountain built in 1936
produces a fun, relaxing
atmosphere. Sager Creek,
surrounded by stonewalls,
winds its way along
beautiful hills, springs,
parks with gazebos, bridges,
fountains, playgrounds, and
other landmarks.
The Sager Creeks Arts Center
promotes literature,
theater, visual arts and
music through personal
involvement from the
community. The public
library and the Siloam
Springs Museum have done
outstanding work in
preserving and exhibiting
the city’s history. The
award-winning Chamber of
Commerce Dogwood Festival is
scheduled Friday through
Sunday on the last full
weekend of April. Craft
exhibitors from all over the
